USABLE ON CODES   (UOC)



PURPOSE OF THE CODES

To ensure that the Armorer or DS Repair person obtains the correct part that is being requested for the particular model of weapon that is being repaired.

LOCATION OF THE CODES

THEY ARE LOCATED AT THE END OF THE SMR CODES NEAR THE FRONT OF THE REPAIR PARTS SECTION OF THE TECHNICAL MANUAL

CODE TYPE=  3 DIGIT CODE

EXAMPLE OF THEM FOR THE M-240 SERIES MACHINE GUNS ARE:

UOC. The UOC appears in the lower left corner of the Description Column heading. Usable on codes are shown as “UOC:…” in the Description Column (justified left) on the first line under the applicable item/ nomenclature. Uncoded items are applicable to all models.
